Our Forest School
Outdoor learning is an important part of daily life within our toddler nursery. Our woodland setting and open grounds allow children to explore safely while developing resilience, confidence, and curiosity.
As a nursery with a forest school approach, children are encouraged to enjoy muddy puddles, seasonal exploration, and nature-based learning experiences throughout the year.
These outdoor experiences help support communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and physical development from an early age.

PE & Swimming
PE sessions take place within the sports hall and on the astro pitch with qualified specialists. Swimming lessons are held in the 25m indoor pool with dedicated staff support for each child.
Children attending our nursery for 2 year olds benefit from specialist-led sessions each week within the wider Brockhurst & Marlston House School environment.
These sessions help build water confidence, coordination, balance, and physical development in a fun and supportive environment.

Music & Dance
Music and movement are part of everyday nursery life. Children explore nursery rhymes, percussion instruments, rhythm, and movement activities within the Performing Arts Centre.
These experiences encourage self-expression, listening skills, coordination, and confidence from an early age.
